On November the 8th, 2018, Aleksandar Starčević, Assistant of the Minister of Economy, awarded the annual national awards for business excellence “Oscar of Quality”.
The winners included “Jugo-Kaolin” from Belgrade, “Radijator Engineering” from Kraljevo and “Resor” from Gadžin Han. Starčević congratulated the winners, pointing out that this is an important event and that these companies are an example of how Serbian businessmen should operate.
The award was also presented to the municipality of Medveđa, the Specialized Veterinary Institute of Jagodina and the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
The “Oscar of Quality” awards were presented for the 24th time in a ceremony held at the Chamber of Commerce, as part of the 27th Forum on Quality and Business Excellence of 2018.
The Assistant of the Minister of Economy said that his ministry appreciates the efforts of the Foundation for a Culture of Quality and Business Excellence and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which are promoting the development and improvement of organizational and business excellence.
The “Oscar of Quality” was awarded to both, profit and non-profit organizations, for the top results achieved in the development and improvement of organizational and business excellence. This important recognition is awarded by the Foundation for a Culture of Quality and Business Excellence, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy.
